Terms of Service

Quizzz is a multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform providing AI-powered quiz generation, assignment hosting, and student assessment tools. The Service supports two user scopes: (a) Teachers, who can generate quizzes, manage classes, and assign tests; and (b) Students, who can register accounts, manage enrollments, and access Self-Study features (generating private quizzes via text, PDF, Web URLs, or YouTube videos, utilizing AI dialogue, and receiving personalized strength/weakness analyses). Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service.

You retain all rights, title, and interest in and to any materials, documents, audio, Web URLs, YouTube links, or text you upload to the Service ("User Content"). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to process, host, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing, performing, and improving the Service. You represent and warrant that your User Content does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or copyrights. You agree to assume full responsibility for any disputes or legal claims arising from your User Content (including materials uploaded for student Self-Study).

To access the Service as a teacher or administrator, you must authenticate using your Google account or email credentials. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including the design systems, source code, user interfaces, branding presets, themes, and proprietary algorithms, belong exclusively to TechTransLab. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of our intellectual property without our express written consent.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. TechTransLab makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of the Service. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure.

If you configure a quiz as a "Promotional Quiz" or publish it on your public tenant landing page, you agree that such content may be indexed by search engines and included in our public sitemaps. This indexing is intended to increase the public exposure of your materials and does not apply to private quiz links or school-restricted assessments.

The Service utilizes generative artificial intelligence (including Google Gemini AI) to assist in composing quiz questions, phonetic guides, and translations. You acknowledge that AI-generated content can contain errors, biases, or inaccuracies (hallucinations). You are solely responsible for reviewing, correcting, and validating all AI-generated output before assigning it to students. We assume no liability for errors or damages resulting from AI-generated material.

We offer free and premium paid tiers (Lite, Go, Pro) on monthly or annual billing cycles. Subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable. Upon downgrading, features exceeding your new tier limits will be locked.

You may request account deletion at any time via your account settings. Upon request, we will permanently delete your personal profile, quizzes, and related assets from our databases within 30 days. Anonymized telemetry or aggregated performance statistics may be retained for analytic purposes, provided they cannot be linked back to you.

Students may register accounts to manage their learning. Upon signup, the Service automatically links the student account to existing teacher roster records matching the student's email ("Roster Linking") to consolidate attempt history. Quizzes and analysis generated through student Self-Study are private and accessible only by the student. Class assignments assigned by a teacher are not private; results and grades are shared with the assigning teacher for educational feedback.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. In the event of material changes, we will notify registered users via email or in-app announcements. Your continued use of the Service following such notifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechTransLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TechTransLab and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
