Purchase Terms

These Purchase Terms apply to purchases of teacher-created content or lessons on Quizzz from the seller identified for your order. Quizzz is operated by TechTransLab, LLC ("TechTransLab"). They add to the Quizzz Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. For marketplace purchases, these Purchase Terms and the applicable refund policy prevail over any inconsistent provision of the general Terms of Service; the subscription billing and refund rules in the Terms of Service apply only to Quizzz subscriptions; and mandatory rights under the law where you live prevail over all of them. Later updates to the general Terms of Service do not change the price, fees or refund terms recorded for a purchase you have already made. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must make or approve the purchase.

1. Who sells to you

Every purchase has one seller, shown on the checkout page and on your receipt. The seller is fixed when the order is created and does not change afterwards. - Sold by TechTransLab: the receipt names "TechTransLab, LLC (Quizzz)" as seller and the teacher as author or instructor. Your contract for the purchase is with TechTransLab. TechTransLab handles payment, support, refunds and card disputes under the Refund Policy. - Sold by the teacher: the receipt names the teacher as seller. Your contract for the purchase is with the teacher, and payment is processed by Stripe through the teacher's own Stripe account. Quizzz provides the storefront and checkout but is not a party to that sale. The teacher is responsible for delivery, refunds and cancellations, within the booking and cancellation settings shown at checkout.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are shown at checkout in the listed currency, including any tax we are required to show. Payment is taken by card through Stripe when you check out. Your bank may charge currency conversion or foreign transaction fees.

3. Delivery

- Digital content is available in your Quizzz account after payment is confirmed, usually within minutes. - Scheduled lessons are confirmed by email and shown under your bookings. The teacher delivers the lesson at the booked time, online or at the stated location. - Lesson packs give you a number of lessons to book within the period shown at checkout. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use what you bought for your own learning, for the access period shown at checkout. You may not resell, share or publicly distribute it, except where the law allows.

4. Refunds and cancellations

For purchases sold by TechTransLab, see the Refund Policy: you can request a refund from the purchase receipt in Quizzz or by email to [email protected]. For purchases sold by the teacher, the teacher's cancellation and refund settings shown at checkout apply; contact the teacher, or contact [email protected] if you cannot reach them. Nothing in these terms affects rights you have under consumer law where you live.

5. Problems with content or lessons

If content is not as described or a lesson does not take place, contact support from your purchase page or at [email protected]. Teachers create their own content; it may contain mistakes, including content made with AI tools. This does not limit the remedies in section 4, the Refund Policy or the law.

6. Your information

To complete a purchase we share with the teacher the information needed to deliver it, such as your name and booking details. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Quizzz. See the Privacy Policy.

7. Changes

We may update these Purchase Terms. The version shown on this page when you bought applies to that purchase.
