Japanese N4 Quiz — Multiple Choice + Fill-in-the-Blank (6 questions)
AI-generated JLPT N4 quiz with vocabulary MCQ and cloze questions. Furigana included. Auto-graded instantly — no manual checking.
OpenAI merged Codex into ChatGPT and added Sites — prompt-to-URL pages in public beta. But a website builder isn't a quiz tool: no question types, auto-grading, furigana/pinyin, or class roster. Quizzz is built for that.

OpenAI just merged the standalone Codex app into one ChatGPT desktop app — Chat, Work, and Codex together, on every plan including Free — and added Sites, a public-beta feature that turns a prompt into a shareable web page: a dashboard, a tracker, a one-off interactive demo. For a single handout, that's a real improvement over plain chat text. But Sites is a general website builder, not a quiz tool — and running 5 classes of 30 students exposes the gap. You can publish a page and even collect form input, but nothing is purpose-built for a quiz: no library of question types (MCQ with shuffled options, cloze, matching, ordering), no automatic grading of a language answer with accepted alternatives and explanations, no furigana or pinyin, no JLPT/TOCFL leveling, and no per-student roster showing who answered and where they're weak. Every Site is generated fresh from its own prompt, so there's no reusable, consistent quiz template across the 40 you send this term — you'd be hand-assembling and re-wiring each one. Codex itself is a coding agent, not a quiz tool — bundling it into the app doesn't change any of this.
Quizzz reads your lesson material and produces a ready-to-share quiz with multiple choice, cloze, fill-in-the-blank, true/false, matching, ordering, short answer, reading comprehension, and listening comprehension — all in one generation. Every quiz gets one Magic Link that lives in your dashboard alongside every other quiz and class you've created, so you always know what's live and who's answered. Every submission is collected automatically and auto-graded instantly, with per-student analytics showing weak skills and mastery levels. Because every quiz renders through the same Quizzz exam interface, students see one consistent, brand-matched experience every time — not a different-looking page each time a prompt regenerates one. For Japanese and Chinese, furigana and pinyin are added automatically with JLPT/TOCFL level alignment.
AI-generated multiple choice with smart distractors that test real comprehension — not just random wrong answers. A ChatGPT Site can show options on a page, but per-student shuffling, click scoring, and stored results are pieces you'd wire together yourself — it ships no ready quiz behavior. Quizzz gives you a clickable, shuffled, auto-graded quiz students can take on their phones.
Free-text input where students type their answer. AI grading accepts valid alternative answers and provides explanations. A generated Site can show a question and even collect a typed response — but judging whether a free-text answer is correct, accepting alternatives, and explaining why is quiz logic it doesn't provide.
Interactive drag-and-drop formats that test different cognitive skills. Matching pairs vocabulary with definitions; ordering tests sequence comprehension. A freshly prompted Site would have to reinvent this interface from scratch each time — and scoring the interaction is logic you'd wire in yourself, not a built-in quiz behavior.
Reading comprehension generates questions from passages with context. Listening mode converts questions to TTS audio for JLPT-style practice. Sites can embed text and links, but none of the launch-day coverage of the feature describes any built-in audio-quiz or listening-assessment capability.
Vocabulary lists, textbook passages, lesson notes — any content in any language. Select which of the 9 question types you want, or let AI decide the best mix for your material.
Not just questions — a fully structured quiz with answer keys, explanations, difficulty levels, and automatic furigana/pinyin annotations. Review, edit, and save to your quiz library before publishing.
Send students a link. They answer on any device — no app, no account, no access code. Results are auto-graded instantly. You see per-student scores, weak skills, and mastery tracking in your dashboard.

Generate N5-N1 vocabulary quizzes with furigana from your own textbook content. Add listening comprehension with TTS audio, cloze questions for grammar practice, and matching for kanji recognition. A prompt-generated Site doesn't know your students' JLPT level — Quizzz has built-in level selection and vocabulary filtering.
Create TOCFL Band A-C quizzes with pinyin and zhuyin annotations. Fill-in-the-blank and ordering questions test character writing and sentence structure in ways you'd otherwise have to hand-build on a generated page. Every quiz is saved and organized in your library for reuse across semesters.
Turn reading passages into comprehension quizzes, vocabulary lists into matching exercises, and grammar notes into fill-in-the-blank tests. Build your profile page on Quizzz so students can find you and access your public quizzes — something a one-off Site link doesn't offer.
Studying for JLPT, TOCFL, or any language exam on your own? Pick a topic, let AI generate practice questions, and drill at your own pace. Track your weak areas over time — no teacher required.

ChatGPT Sites (public beta) is a genuine step forward — you can finally turn a prompt into a shareable URL, and even collect form input. But a website builder isn't a quiz platform. Quizzz is the purpose-built layer: a question-type engine, automatic grading with furigana/pinyin, per-student class analytics, and one reusable, consistent quiz experience across every class — not a page you rebuild each time.
